Who can mint an NFT on Talis?
Anyone can mint a single NFT on Talis! Curated artists have access to minting "collections".
How can I mint my first NFT?
- Connect your wallet to Talis: click "Log in", upper right of the website.
- Click on the "Create" button on the top right of the website.
- An NFT Factory token will need to be created. Select "Init collection" to continue, and confirm the transaction in your wallet.
- Upload your artwork, fill out its details, choose royalties, and click "Submit" to mint your NFT. Confirm the transaction in your wallet.
How much does minting on Talis cost?
Fees including gas are usually less than 0.10 USD per NFT.
I think I minted a duplicate NFT, what should I do?
Report it to an administrator on Discord or Telegram and they will take care of it.
Who can apply to become a "curated" artist?
Digital artists, animators, musicians, photographers, video artists, writers, and general artists of all levels can apply to become curated artists, but artists must generally be able to demonstrate previous work.

How can I send my NFT to someone?
Click "Send" on any of your NFTs, paste the wallet address you want to send it to, and confirm the transaction.
Can I send an NFT as a gift?
Yes. Sending an NFT only costs the sender a small fee. The recipient just receives the NFT!
How can I sell an NFT?
- Open the NFT you want to sell from your profile.
- Select "Sell".
- Choose between a fixed price and an auction.
- Pick the currency, the price, and the duration if it's an auction.
Why doesn't an NFT I minted show up on the Museum page?
Because of "spam" NFTs, the Museum only shows curated artists, but you can send the direct link to your work to anyone.
Can I attach royalties to my NFT?
Yes. Talis supports royalties, so artists benefit from the resale of their work. The original minter can also split royalties between several wallets, with a percentage for each.
I've already minted my collection on another marketplace. Can I list it for sale on Talis?
Contact us to list your collection on Talis. Most marketplaces use standards that are compatible with our platform.
My NFT was sold, how do I settle an auction?
When an auction ends, the seller or any bidder can settle it, from the item page or from the "Pending auctions" filter of your profile. Settling sends the NFT to its new owner, and the payment and losing bids to their wallets.
